*The Melli Chocolates Tradition*

It goes back to 1940 when my Uncle Charlie opened his candy shop in Racine, Wisconsin. He made chocolates carefully by hand, dipping each chocolate individually. By 1988, when he died, Uncle Charlie and his chocolates had become a tradition. Growing up, my ambition was to be a candy maker, too. In college, I worked for Uncle Charlie during the holidays learning his recipes. Now, as our family's second generation candy maker, I have moved Melli Chocolates to Cambridge, Wisconsin where I continue to offer Uncle Charlie's legendary individually handmade chocolates. In addition, I have expanded with several new ideas including custom gift baskets, unique Wisconsin items and worldwide shipping for your personal or business giving needs. _______Joe Melli
